Why solar?
Solar is one of the only big purchases where 'buy once, buy right' pays you back every month for two decades. I'm not interested in being the cheapest — I'm interested in being the last solar company a homeowner ever needs to call. We use premium hardware because the difference shows up in year ten, not week one, and we install fast and clean because nobody should have to live around a half-finished project for six months. That's the company I wanted to represent.

What I tell nervous customers.
When someone tells me a competitor came in thousands lower, I don't flinch and I don't badmouth anybody. I ask them to read both warranties out loud, look at who's actually holding them, and check how long each company takes to get on the roof. The gap explains itself. I'd rather lose a sale to a customer who genuinely wants the cheapest option than win one by pretending we're something we're not. We're the premium choice, and I say so plainly.

An install I'm proud of.
A couple in Sherwood Park got three quotes and we were the highest by a wide margin. They almost went with the cheap one — until that installer quoted a four-month lead time. We finished their system, top-tier panels and microinverters, in under three weeks. A year in, their production is beating model and they've sent me two neighbours. Both also paid the premium. Quality is contagious that way.
