The Solar Pro USA LLC d/b/a The Solar Pro ("we," "us," "our") provides residential solar advisory and installation services. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website (thesolar.pro) or our services, how we use it, and what choices you have.
We collect information you give us directly — your name, email, phone number, address, and details about your roof and your utility — when you submit a quote form, contact an advisor, or schedule a conversation. We also collect basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, user agent, page accessed) for security and analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information.
We use information you give us to: respond to your inquiry, design and quote a solar system for your roof, fulfill an installation if you become a customer, and stay in touch over the multi-decade lifespan of your system for warranty, monitoring, and service.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We don't add you to a marketing drip-email list. We don't share your information with third-party advertisers, social media networks, or data brokers. The only third parties who see your information are the ones strictly necessary to deliver service: our advisors, our installation crews, our financing partner Financeit (only if you apply for financing), and our utility partner Northern NRG (for installations in Alberta requiring interconnect coordination).
Information is stored on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare (web and form delivery), Google Workspace (email), and Resend (transactional email). All these vendors maintain industry-standard security controls.
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within thirty days.
This site uses no marketing or tracking cookies. We use one essential cookie for form submission, which is removed when you close your browser. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tag manager.
Our services are intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we materially change this policy, we will note the change at the top of this page and date the change. Material changes will be accompanied by direct notification to customers in our system.
