About The Solar Pro
A letter from the founder
The reason I started The Solar Pro is that I watched too many of my neighbors get sold the wrong solar system at the wrong price by the wrong person. The industry has a closer's instinct for short-term commission and a long-term memory of about ninety days — which is the average tenure of a solar sales rep at most companies in this country. By year five, the person who put the system on your roof has moved to four other companies and you have nobody to call.
That's not how a 25-year purchase should work.
We built this differently. Our advisors are named, photographed, and reachable years after the install — because that's what trust requires. Our installs are done by our own crews, not subcontractors. Our quotes show the math, including the panel degradation curve and the local utility's actual published rate trajectory, so you can see exactly how the numbers got to where they got. Our financing partner is Financeit, with twenty-year terms and zero interest for the first sixty months — the most predictable monthly payment any homeowner could ask for.
We're not the cheapest solar company in your service area. We're not trying to be. We're trying to be the company you'd recommend to your sister.

Our naming
Our parent entity is named after the five Roman emperors — Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius, and Marcus Aurelius — who together produced the longest stretch of competent, accountable governance in the empire's history. None of them were perfect. All of them outperformed the people who came before and the people who came after. The pattern matters: durable institutions are built by people who care more about the next generation than the current quarter.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to. A solar system installed today should outlive the current management team, the current partners, and the current financing — and the company that put it on your roof should still be there.
