Why solar?
I'm an owner-operator first, a salesperson never. I started this company because I'd watched too many homeowners get pressured into systems that didn't fit their roof, by people who'd be gone before the warranty mattered. Solar is a 25-year decision and somebody has to still be answering the phone in year 15. I built The Solar Pro to be that somebody. The warranties we hold, we hold ourselves.

What I tell nervous customers.
I tell them the same thing I tell my own neighbours: don't decide on a single call. Get our quote. Get one from a competitor. Then sit on it for a week. If something feels off, listen to that feeling. The math on solar is real, but only if the company you sign with is still around to honour it. If we're the right fit, you'll know on call two. If we're not, you'll know that too.

An install I'm proud of.
A retired couple in Sherwood Park, both in their 70s. They'd been quoted a 12kW system by another company and the math didn't work — too big for their roof, too aggressive on the financing. I designed an 8kW system instead, sized to their actual usage. Their first-year production came in within 2% of model. The wife sent me a Christmas card. That's the one I keep on my desk.
