Why solar?
I like products that make somebody's life materially better. Solar is one of them. A power bill that goes from variable and rising to fixed and falling — that's a real change in a family's monthly cash flow, year after year. And the install only happens once. The relationship that comes after, the warranty work, the production monitoring — that's where I get to be useful for the next two decades. That's worth showing up for.

What I tell nervous customers.
I tell them: 'You don't have to decide today. You don't have to decide this month. Take the quote, sit with it, ask anybody you trust, and call me back when you're ready — or don't.' That single sentence settles most people. The pressure is what makes them nervous, and removing it is the only thing that fixes the nerves. Once they know they're in charge of the timeline, the conversation gets honest.

An install I'm proud of.
A couple in Lethbridge who came to me after a bad experience with a previous solar company. They'd had a system installed that under-produced badly, and the company that sold it had vanished. We replaced their inverter, re-stringed the array, and got their production up to spec within a month. They didn't owe us a sale — they came back six months later for a battery. That trust is the real product.
